Styling Documents
- Ensure that a theme has been set within Settings > Template Management > Document Styles
- Turn on the Global Styling through either of these Radio Buttons:
- Off - this turns off Global Styling being applied to documents and templates
-
Only Update Styles - this setting allows for more flexibility for those who are more comfortable with formatting their documents. If you have made manual adjustments to your templates that do not match the Settings, Client Manager will not wash away these changes.
- EXAMPLE - if Heading 1 has been set to be this: Heading 1 within Settings, but within your document, you have manually adjusted the template to be this: Heading 1 the pink and underlined formatting will be not removed - the blue will not be applied to that specific instance of Heading 1. However, every subsequent occurrence of Heading 1 formatting will be Heading 1
-
Update and Reapply Styles - this will be the most common selection; selecting this radio button will auto-apply the styling through your documents. Any manual adjustments that have been made to the formatting that do not match the Global Style settings will be removed and replaced by what has been set within Settings
- EXAMPLE - if Heading 1 has been set to be this: Heading 1 within Settings, but within your document, you have manually adjusted the template to be this: Heading 1 the pink and underlined formatting will be removed, and Client Manager will turn this back to blue to match the settings

Styling Tables Components
- Ensure that a theme has been set within Settings > Template Management > Table Styles
- The default option for Table Styling is OFF
- To enable Table Styling, a user will need to set this on individual Table Components within Menu > Practice Management > Template Management > Table Components
- Select a Table Component and Edit
- Select an 'Auto Style' option:
Auto Style Options:
- Heading - styling impacts the heading row only
- Heading&RowHeading - styling impacts the heading and first row only
- Heading&Total - styling impacts the heading and total rows only
- Heading,RowHeading&Total - styling impacts the heading, first and total rows only
- InlineMarkup - customised formatting
- Off - no styling to be applied from the Settings area
- RowHeading - styling impacts the first row only
Inline Markup
This allows for further customisation of table formatting. Insert the following markup into the first cell of a row to control the style formatting for that row.
Note: the markup is case sensitive, and no space in between the text and the markup.
@HEADING
@SUBHEADING
@TOTAL
@SUBTOTAL
@ROWHEADING
@ROWHEADINGTOTAL
@ROWTOTAL

Example output with formatting:
There are some new changes to Table Component editing options with this enhancement:
- Enter Code - this allows the user to override the {TC.TagName} that appears when coding a template **WARNING** - if you change the code of the table, this code will need to be updated in templates where that table is used in order to bring through the data
- Override Empty Table Message - by default, our tables will provide a warning to a user when there is no data present in a table that is being coded for; this option allows that warning message to be change/removed if needed
- Preface - allows for a basic introduction to the data being shown; for example, a preface to income might be "Below is what you have told us about your current income"
- Detailed Table - ticking this box indicates to the system that your table is data-heavy, and Client Manager will then reduce the size of the font automatically (pre-set within Settings) to ensure the information fits on the page

Styling Tables (Non-Table Components)
Place the following markups into the first cell of the inline table:
@AutoStyle.Heading
@AutoStyle.HeadingTotal (ie. Heading & Total)
@AutoStyle.RowHeading
@AutoStyle.HeadingRowHeading (ie. Heading & RowHeading)
@AutoStyle.HeadingRowHeadingTotal (ie. Heading & RowHeading & Total)
@AutoStyle.InlineMarkup
Example:
Below is the “Information about You” table. This is an inline table containing Data components within the cells of a table, but it is not a Table Component.
If we wish to style the first column to be Row heading and the first row to be Heading, I have added @AutoStyle.HeadingRowHeading to the first cell of the table
