Launch an Advanced Search
- An Advanced Search can be launched through clicking on Advanced
Entity Based Search
- An Entity Based search allows you to target key details housed within the client record, such as a birthday or next review date
- A user needs to indicate initially whether they are wanting to target specific entity types, or search across All Entities
- Making the relevant entity selection will then impact which Sub-Modules you are able to select from
- Sub-Module selection indicates to the system where you are wanting to draw the data from, such as Individual Summary for information such as a birthday or next review date
- Once your Sub-Module has been selected, you will then be able to input the relevant Field that you wish to target
- You will then select the relevant Operator such as Equals or Contains (if the field is a date field, you will see additional options relating to time frames)
- From there, enter in a Value and run your search
Multi-Filter Searches
- You may wish to search across multiple fields/areas of the client record when constructing a search
- If you are searching across the same Sub-Module, you can simply select on the green plus to add a new row, and select whether you want the statement to read OR/AND
For example, this search is showing all clients with a BIRTHDAY WITHIN THE NEXT 30 DAYS AND an AGE EQUAL TO 65
- If you are wanting to search across different Sub-Modules, you will need to select on Add Filter as well as selected your AND/OR condition for the search
For this example, you can see that we are searching for clients who have a BIRTHDAY WITHIN THE NEXT 30 DAYS AND an INSURANCE POLICY WITH AN ANNIVERSARY DATE IN THE NEXT 90 DAYS
Non Entity Based Search
- A Non Entity Based Search allows you to search across all areas of Client Manager, without being limited to specific areas of the client record
- This can be useful to generate bulk lists to then communicate with clients about things such as investment transactions or for auditing/compliance to see what documents with key words have been created in a certain time frame
- The same filtering construction rules that have been outlined above will still apply
