Client Manager has different types of fields and they each have their own editing limitations:
Firstly, you can view all fields via Settings > Customise screens > Custom fields:
System Fields
System Fields are the original Client Manager fields that are hard-coded and created in the system back-end.
These fields are fixed and have editing limitations.
Here is an example of a System Field:
As you can see, you can only edit the Label name. Please note this name change will not reflect on Snapshot - only on Summary.
You can also select to show in grid, or request a reason when modified when the First name is modified by the user.
Please keep in mind these fields are not flexible to move around in Snapshot.
Non-System Fields
Non-System Fields are similar to System Fields in that they are also fixed codes, however, you have a few more options to edit.
Here is an example of a Non-System Field:
Please keep in mind these fields are not flexible to move around in Snapshot.
Custom Fields
Custom Fields are easily customisable - you can edit and move them around to your preference.
Please keep in mind when a custom field is created, it does not automatically create a data component.

The Entity ID Field
The Entity ID field is a special type of field in Client Manager which cannot be edited or moved.
For comparison purposes, it's like the XPLAN ID where each client record has an ID where the software can refer to, rather than a name search.
